Blogging My Quilt Journey

Got an embroidery machine, a quilting machine, and a serger.  Got a redesigned sewing room (can I call it my studio yet?). Got a big pile of fabric - a really BIG pile of fabric - okay, numerous piles of fabric.  Joined a quilt guild and a quilting bee. Read about a thousand quilting blogs. Took some quilting classes.  Went to the International Quilting Festival in Houston two years in a row where I took some more classes.  Started lots of projects.  You can tell that by the number of large bags I have with patterns or magazines and a selection of fabrics and a number of blocks started!

So true!  But I really have been working on my quilts, honest.

Circles and Coils Wall Hanging

This one is finished and is now hanging over my couch in the living room.  It was such fun learning how to cut and sew curves.

And I finished this one, too, my Jacobean Tulips quilt.  Doesn't it look like a wreath?  It's also hanging in the living room.

Not the best photo - I couldn't seem to get straight on to the quilt - it really is square.
